A picture of you and your favorite drink.
I like a lot of drinks. White Cliffs coffee from Muddys, Naked Smoothie Drinks, Ocean Water or Lime-Berry Slush from Sonic, Orange Aid from Andy's... but one is always a constant.
Water.
I am not particular about my drinking water at all. I grew up with well water. I have lived in EC (Elizabeth City) for years drinking the city water which most people say is disgusting. I don't notice; it's water. I do, however, have a thing for water in weird bottles. Once on a road trip I bought an overpriced bottle of water just because of the packaging. It was in the shape of a flask and was called "Fred." HA! Hilarious! Who could resist?!? Recently I purchased a bottle of Voss, "sparkling mineral water from the untouched nature of Southern Norway" (quoted from their website). To me it tasted the same as what comes out of my tap. But the bottle is awesome. It's sleek and easy to carry around and looks good sitting on my desk. It just begs me to drink from it. And even though I may be paying $1.69 for a 20oz bottle of water that doesn't taste any different to me, it's fun and helps keep me hydrated. I'd say that's worth the few extra pennies.

Day 9 of 100
A picture of what you like to do.
This is Gerome the Gnome before.

This is Gerome the Gnome after his make-over.
Like I've said in a recent post, I am a crafter. Corey and I were walking into the house yesterday and he commented how faded Gerome was. I immediately took him into the house and gave him a face lift. I'm sure Lola, his voluptuous girlfriend, will be pleased with his new look.

Day 8 of 100
A picture of you and someone in your family.
Again, I'm going to have to cheat on this one. This is my new favorite picture of my mom. It resides on the top of my entertainment center in my living room.
When I was young, my mom always had a knack for making mundane chores fun.
When I was in cross country, my mom would sprint from one part of the course to another to cheer me on and she was always at the finish to congratulate me.
When I was a teen and majorly sassy, my mom was patient and understanding.
She always knew how to make me laugh when no one else could.
My first all nighter was spent with my mother working on a science fair project. It may have been the wee hours of the night, but I'm pretty sure we both got a little buzz from the rubber cement we used. We were both so giggly.
My mom has always been there to listen and offer wise advice when I need it.
Her passion and joy for God is contagious and I credit my own personal relationship with Christ to her.
I have always found her inward and outward beauty stunning.
My mom is easily the most influential person in my life.
Growing up she was my role model and mentor. She has become my best friend.
Every day I find myself becoming more and more like her, a fact I am honored to acknowledge.
She currently lives in Colorado. I don't get to see her nearly as often as I would like. I miss her often.

Day 6 of 100
A picture of you and something inspiring.
As many of you probably know, I am a crafter. I enjoy sewing, making collages, making jewelry, and scrap booking. When I am in the creative mood, but find myself lacking in ideas or direction I flip through a craft magazine for inspiration.
Sometimes it works like magic and I am struck with an awesome idea and get right to work. Other times, like last night, I'd rather just watch a movie and eat popcorn.

Day 5 of 100
A picture of what you did today.
I did it! I touched my toes!
I am EXTREMELY inflexible. Always have been. As a result I have never been able to touch my toes with my legs remaining straight. For the past several days I have been doing yoga and an exercise ball mini work-out. Yesterday for the first time I can remember, I stretched and touched my toes. It was awesome.

Day 4 of 100
A picture of you and your friends.
Almost all my friends are a great distance away from me right now. Some went home for the summer. Some are working or interning at a church not in my area. One is in Vegas and another in Africa doing amazing work for God. Some are making life transitions and are preparing for their own future in a completely different state. For one reason or another most of my friends are not physically with me. So this will have to suffice...
Two disclaimers: 1) Just because you are not one of the 6 people "pictured" here, does not mean you are not my friend. I actually made a long list of people to draw, but only 6 fit on my paper and these were the first 6 that I had ideas for. 2) My friends are NOT topless. But even if they were, they are stick figures, people. Geesh.
