For graduation my mom bought Corey a tandem bicycle. It is loads of fun! This Saturday was gorgeous out so we rode it to the softball tournament. Oddly enough, like last year, we showed up just when MACU finished their game. But we still enjoyed a ride around town together.

Day 60 of 100
Awhile back I gave Jerome the Gnome a make-over. Figured it was about time for Lola to get one too.
What a sexy couple!

Day 59 of 100
Muddy's Coffeehouse is a regular thing for Corey. Last year it began with a group of guys going to Muddy's on Tuesday after chapel. Eventually they started going on Thursdays. Now, if it's a day, it's a day for Muddy's.
Corey and I have made visiting Muddy's a regular part of our Saturday routine. Typically he gets a coffee and I get tea and we sip while we read and chat. Last Saturday, Buddy and Aimee joined us.

Day 58 of 100
Hurricane Earl threatened and we reacted, but when it arrived it proved to be a sissy.
Corey and Rob Shields, not phased by Earl's claims, decided that they would build a boat to ride down the flooded streets of Elizabeth City. The boat is made up of a sheet of plywood, cardboard, duct-tape, and plastic bottles. Well the streets didn't flood so the boat was not tested and still resides in my living room waiting for the next big rain.

Day 57 of 100
For two years now, the upperclassmen have hosted an event for the freshmen called the Beach Bonanza. This year, 21 people went to the beach and we had a blast!
Corey and Daniel Wornstaff played in the sand.
So did I with Ashley, Mike, and Jenna.
Corey and Daniel had a contest to see who could roll from the sand into the ocean first. Corey lost, because he rolled into the family who was sitting next to us (hilarious!). He did eventually make it.
While others swam, I chilled on the shore, getting to know some of the freshmen and chilling with the upperclassmen. Ryan, Mike, and Ben Hosman performed an improv song. I caught it on video. Check it out on FaceBook!

Day 55 of 100
Recently Corey and I went on a geocaching spree/walk with the Woolard family and Buddy Holloway.
During the trip, Teri found an AMAZING flower. These pictures do not do it justice.
Do you know what kind of flower this is?
