Corey was sickly yesterday. Being a good wifey, I made him dinner. Yum!
But that isn't the interesting part. Corey and I have a history of buying a single item of food in excess. Corey gets it in his mind that we need something and buys it every time we go to the store. At one point we had so many bottles of maple syrup it wasn't funny. Eventually, that item goes on the DO NOT BUY grocery list. This also happened with single wrapped Velveta cheese. It seems we have always had those things in the door of our fridge. So yesterday while making toasted cheese sandwhiches, I took a look at the experation date. November 2008. No joke!
Yes, I still used it. I know, you are totally grossed out. But really what I am more concerned about is that despite being several months beyond a year expired, the cheese looked like I just bought it yesterday. WHAT IS IN THIS STUFF? Luckily there are only two more pieces left.
