A picture of the most beautiful place in town.
There are actually a lot of beautiful locations in Elizabeth City, if you are on the lookout for them. Some of the houses in town are simply amazing. There are a few parks that are eye-catching as well. And with the river, there is a lot of waterfront property that is simply breath taking.
But if I had to pick one place in town that stood above all the others, I would pick the Culpepper Inn, because there resides my favorite tree. The first time I walked down this street, I noticed the tree. The trunk is stout and the branches stretch over the entire yard. The leaves are so dense, the thick shade it provides is ever damp and cool.
The tree is much larger and glorious than it appears here. I couldn't even find a photo on the internet that did it justice. So due to the lack of grandeur of my tree pictures, here are a few other pictures from Elizabeth City of things I found to be beautiful.
